Absolutely. Many of our customers enjoy our fruits, corn and even some veggies as a crunchy, lightweight snack straight out of the bag. Just remember to drink extra water, as the food will absorb moisture from your body!
Don’t be fooled by the weight! Since water accounts for about 80% of a food’s weight, a 100gram bag of dehydrated vegetables is equivalent to roughly 1 Kg of fresh produce. You’re getting the nutrition without the heavy lifting.
Once opened, moisture is the enemy. We recommend:
1. Squeezing out as much air as possible before resealing.
2. Storing in a cool, dark pantry.
3. Using a “chip clip” or transferring to a glass mason jar if the original seal is compromised.
It’s simple! Cover the product with boiling water in a heat-safe bowl, cover, and let sit for 5 to 15 minutes. For cold applications (like putting fruit in yogurt), you can eat them dry for a crunchy snack or soak them in cold water for a longer period.
